34. TRONG RỪNG                             Trong rừng, như có vầng trăng

Tròn xoe, vụng dại, đêm rằm quê xưa

Trong rừng, như có sim mua

Ăn không biết chát, buồn chưa biết buồn

Mưa tan, trời ửng tinh sương

Đưa ta tới Cõi Vô thường, nhẹ không.

In the forest, as if a full moon appeared
Round and innocent, like the one in my old village nights

In the forest, as if the sim and the mua grew
Fruits we once tasted, before we knew bitterness, before we knew sorrow

The rain has passed, the sky clears through the mist
Leading us gently into the Realm of Impermanence.

34. DANS LA FORÊT Dans la forêt, comme si une pleine lune surgissait
    Ronde et candide, comme celle des nuits de mon ancien village

Dans la forêt, comme si poussaient les fruits sim et mua
Ces fruits que nous goûtions jadis, avant de connaître l’amertume, avant   de connaître la tristesse

La pluie s’est éteinte, le ciel s’éclaircit dans la brume
Et cette scène nous mène doucement au Royaume de l’Impermanence.

34. В ЛЕСУ В лесу – как будто взошла полная луна
    Круглая, наивная, как луна в деревне моего детства

В лесу – как будто росли плоды сим и муа
Плоды, что мы ели тогда, когда ещё не знали ни горечи, ни печали

Дождь прошёл, и сквозь туман вдруг прояснилось небо
И эта картина ведёт нас в Обитель Непостоянства.
